Ha! Finished a story! I got a bug for some Donna-Doctor, and this is what came out of it. Un-betaed, so if you spot something terribly wrong, it's fair game

Don't they? I know the Doctor's way older, but in many ways, it feels like Donna's the older sibling. Maybe because he's got a permanent case of arrested development. Thanks!
They do have a brother-sister feel to their relationship. Sometimes I think Donna feels rather maternal, but it's more in the way of a big sister looking out for her sometimes clueless little brother.
Oh, that was just brilliant. I love Donna so much, but I especially love *your* Donna. It's so nice that the Doctor finally has someone that he can just talk to, who will keep him honest without any kind of romantic pressure. The bits about how Donna's room changes just make me incredibly happy. I'm taking this as canon.
Thanks. Yeah, Donna can do something for him that neither Rose nor Martha could, and right now, he really needs that. Couldn't resist having the TARDIS thank Donna, too.
Oh my God, I loved this. It encapsulates all the ways that Donna is good for the Doctor, with some lovely reflection on Martha and Rose and a hefty dose of TARDIS love. The last line made me squee. :D
This fic has exactly the kind of flavour I like - bit of h/c for the Doctor, but nothing too bleak, and Donna! I'm beginning to like her a LOT (Martha didn't do a thing for me, actually annoys me a bit), and you wrote her nicely in character. And the ending? Nice! :)
I love Donna, too. She's well on my way to becoming my favorite companion. I like Martha better now that she's off the TARDIS; she's more confident and independent, and that looks good on her. Thanks for commenting!

When she got back to her room, it had a walk-in closet. Perfect ending.
