Anyone read a trilogy called The Last Herald Mage by Mercedes Lackey? I'm reading the first book, Magic's Pawn right now. The book I borrowed from the library contains the whole series...so it's a fat piece of thing. xDD I like it so far.

Also ordered The Distance Between Us by Bart Yates. His other two books Leave Myself Behind and The Brother's

I haven't read that particular trilogy, but I have read some others of the Valdemar books (I prefer Andre Norton's Witchworld though).

This is my first time reading the Valdemar books, I had no idea that it's such a...huge universe (that explains the shit ton of her books that my library has). I never heard of Witchworld. I'll check it out. :D

The Last Herald-Mage is one of my favorite stories (taken all together) ever. EVER. :) I like the Valdemar books in general, but Vanyel will always be my favorite. X3

I got up to chapter 5. I like it so far. 8D I never read Mercedes Lackey's books before but I guess this is a good start. Her books take up like...a shelf and another half of a shelf at the library.
