That's too bad about The Winter Queen, though, unfortunately, I've had that happen, too. When it's a series most of the time I"ll read the next book, but not every time.

Fallout sounds interesting. I'm a Lois Lane fan from way back, though I'm not sure if I'd enjoy a book where Superman doesn't make an appearance. But if it's a series, I would imagine that he will eventually.

Yeah, I was bummed, the epilogue kind of took the wind out of my sails when it came to my enjoyment of the book.

Actually, he does show up! She is in a group chat with a person by the screen name of SmallvilleGuy, and they have a lot of good conversations. I liked that he was included without it taking the focus off Lois and the story she was trying to tell.
