Is it just me or are the days passing quicker? I can't believe it is the second week of September already. We are all doing well here for the most part. The kitchen is still being worked on. We ripped out the old back splash that was very 70's (when the kitchen was last remodeled) white tiles with amber yellow specks. I always hated that tile

Ugh. Fourth Wing has been the subject of so many book club posts and it's driving me mad. LOL The thing that worries me the most are the comments like, "Oh, I hate fantasy, too, but I loved this!" Makes me fear that, as someone who loves fantasy, I'll hate it. Hahaha. Glad to see you enjoyed it, too.

I liked Dial A for Aunties, even though it stressed me out sometimes. I know what you mean about the bad choices - had she not made that first, bad choice, there'd have been no book. Kind of like B. A. Paris' The Dilemma - had the couple had one conversation, boom, no book. 🤣

I did end up liking it more than I thought I would. lol

It was an overall fun book but, like you said, stressed me out after a while.

Exactly. I keep pushing back the second book that I have on hold at the library. I need to be in a good frame of mind when I start it. LOL

That was the most disappointing thing was that I was stoked to read it and then it was just meh.
