i sat down to write out some ventage about derby. getting it all out made me feel better, but it sure doesn't entertain the masses. so, the truncated version:

our league will have its first bout against an out-of-town league next weekend. the coach posted the list of players for that bout, and i'm not on it.

he is claiming concern for my safety (since i had that knee injury), even after i spoke with him and reassured him that my doc cleared me to skate if i wore a brace, and after i reminded him that i haven't missed a practice since being cleared. i think there are other factors involved in his decision, and that upsets me.
