Gah! It's been an uneventful week. I suppose I should count my blessings, eh?

•  Things are slowing down in the "garden". I'm harvesting fewer and fewer tomatoes, although the White Currants are still popping out fruit like crazy. Yesterday, however, I harvested something extra---two big ol' fat and disgusting, fully mature tomato horn worms chomping

Oh GAH, I hate hornworms! We haven't seen any for a few years, but I recall their fat bloated bodies so well. EW EW EW EW EW.

They're 3'x4', and they're on a hillside. Oh, that's not a garden. It's a mockery. Hope you can scheme to get more ground!

My general take on bugs is inside and menacing? Forget the camera. Outside and arm's length? Cautious pictures.:) Of course, were it something menacing something I grew, I probably would have acted in the interest of the plant first, like you did.
