Er yeah, the mod for jdramas wanted to close the entire place down right away. She did not, which gives me time to make a list of stuff that I wanna look for... There is this one picture that I retweeted from someone yesterday that says "WHAT IF THE MAYANS MEANT THE END OF THE INTERNET?" which sums up many people's feeling on the matter I guess, but with the waves SOPA is making, i don't know how they can pass it. (this is me being optimistic.)

As a comm maintainer, the MU shutdown really hit hard. I don't even know what to say. I can't afford the time to rebuild the years of effort, but if anyone wants to try, I'm willing to help in small ways such as coordinating the posts and the lists. I haven't made a post to the relevant fandom comm yet. Can't bring myself to.
Yeah, a lot of big comms have closed straight away, and I don't want to think about what got lost... but now I know why people have HDDs where they literally just hoard stuff. That's what I am gonna do now.
Yeah I've got every single file on HDD, I'll mail you stuff if you pay for postage! And call me paranoid but you might want to consider locking this post :p
