Oooo, Canton fic! The disjointed structure in this case I think fits perfectly : )

And Canton overlooks his headache and says, “Grandma always said I’d be an actor.”
*Great* line. I can absolutely hear him saying this and just how he'd say it <3

It’s been all smoke and mirrors and boxes within boxes, and Canton is more confused now than that day in the warehouse.
I love the sense you've captured of confusion and strangeness and yet Canton being able to role with it and perform well--just right.
