Heh, there actually was, in one of the first drafts. I'm afraid only random bits of apple were left in the end, so I'm chuffed you're still seeing it!

Ah, I'm so fascinated by Melody's story, especially the undertones - so glad that came through!

I really like this story, it's helping me see young!River's obsession with the Doctor in a new way.
