While I actually like the whole man with wings thing, this is rather an awesome set of waveform interpretations (let alone the sad, creepy, awful Frankenstein-esque Hell!Dean).

This one in particular reminds me of a drawing I found and have been using elsewhere as an icon but of course I can't find it now :-(

Heh, thanks! And it's not that the winged-guy thing doesn't have it's place (but that also raises the issue that afaik there's no mention anywhere in the bible of them having wings and that's just an artistic convention) it's just that personally it doesn't interest me nearly as much as the other possibilities. Glad you enjoyed my interpretation, anyway. Thanks so much!

Heh, if Sam wants to become an angel then I'll consider drawing him. I mean seriously, the last 4 or 5 pics I've done have been an excuse to do trueform stuff. I suppose I could hae a go at Gabriel, but I don't ship Sabriel and anyway Gabe's an archangel and taht sounds like a ridiculous amount of work to me.

Hell!Dean is so interesting to me because there's so much room for interpretation. I just really wanted to make the one from the other pic do...stuff. I dunno. Then I felt kinda lazy for not coming up with something new but I love the eyes thing! And the embedded hook. Mmmm.

I'm fasscinated by the angels, and in my head classify them as more science fiction than supernatural entity. There's a lot of storytelling potential there. It's awesome!
