I think I'm gonna buy this theory. After watching the last episode, I didn't see how Castiel could progress as a character if he'd essentially been brain-damaged until he could no longer make value judgments, i.e. vomited up the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and returned to a state of primordial innocence. But in your picture, he's active, "choosing no choice." Dean's anger makes sense, because Castiel has made himself less than he was
