I feel like the only person in the country working on Memorial Day. I'm for sure the only person working in this office building today. This morning I thought I knew the code for the alarm...but I didn't and the alarm sounded for a good 5 minutes or more. I called my boss for the right code and so far no police or Brinks security men have showed up

Wow, that sounds interesting. I totally believe in spiritual warfare, although the idea of evil spirits residing in me is one I haven't come across before. But I do know that Satan tries to influence us negatively - you know all the dramas I had with S in my office, well I kept getting really angry about it and dwelling on it recently, and I realised that Satan was using what she did to me as a tool to keep me nursing bitterness, anger and resentment towards her in my heart. Not cool! So I started praying for good stuff every time I thought about her, and it eventually stopped preying on my mind.

I had never heard of evil spirits residing within us either. I think when we can see consistent patterns of Satan's negative influence in our lives, that's when we know it's not just random influences, but maybe a little more strategic - and that's the idea of the evil spirits "residing" in or with you.

Praying for people that you harbor negative feelings toward is actually one of the tactics for pushing away evil. It's like not giving into the evil influence and instead acting in accordance with who you really are - a believer in Christ who loves and forgives.

I think it's all very interesting stuff!
