i hope he isn't there the whole 6 months because something radically lovely occurs so that the troops are no longer in danger and the iraqis have some sort of power over themselves so that they don't take it out on the soldiers, the vast majority of which don't want to be there and do want them to be free, so that we stop being an occupying force and get to bring some of our people home.
you're both in my thoughts, along with that whole region.
you can always count potatoes until he gets back, there are plenty of them out there.

p.s. i think if you go have a good talking to with georgie, Lance could be back by next week along with all the other soldiers.
