Of Cars and Cats

Things are really not well at all, but I will leave it for the health filter when I'm up to typing about it. This one is on the bittersweet side.

Aw, Jen, you would LOVE her. She's about a third the size of your Harry - like a tea cup version. A little ball of love.

Both she and Oliver know when something isn't right. They take turns checking in on mama. Oliver says he just sits on me because I'm warmer than most of the other seating options in the house, but I know better... ;)

(And squishes to your clever boy)

I drove my Grandfather's care after his passing.

Thank you for posting this, it is everything I felt but couldn't say.

And your cat sounds wonderful :)

I'm glad there is someone out there who can relate to this. You are welcome for the post, and thank you.

(And little Jasmine is wonderful - my sweet baby. <3 She's curled up on my lap again as I'm typing this.)

Cats make things bearable. Or catable.

They really, really do.

My babies are my best friends, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. We're on the same wavelength, and the outpouring of constant affection is mutual.

It's like your Gramme's looking out for you ♥

Jasmine sounds like a little angel. I'm so glad she found her way into your life. I still hope to see pictures...

I'd like to think Gramme is out there somewhere - or right here - watching and guiding me with her gentle ways. I ask her for help and guidance every night. I know if she's out there, she isn't God, but I like talking to her. Just as I always did.

Miss Jasmine of the Midnight Furs is currently in a snoozing ball on my lap as I type this. :) You know what, Hill, I could just e-mail you some photos of her. Would that work? I'd have to do it one by one from my phone as that is where the pictures are (I don't know how to include many photos in one e-mail via phone) - so you'd get like 10 e-mails from me. Would you like me to do that? If so, what's the best e-mail address to use?

I don't LJ much anymore, but every now and then I do log in to see how everyone's doing. I was wondering why I hadn't seen anything from you lately and was hoping you're doing better. I guess now I know (and I see I missed the earlier Health filter post). If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to be added to that list.

Oh man my first car was a '98 Park Avenue Buick. Yes, they are gigantic boats!!!! @_@ Sad your Neon's not safe anymore...I always thought they were cool cars. Shame they don't make them anymore.

Yeah, things aren't too great. :/ I made a filter a month back because almost all my posts were health related, and I know that can get old. I will add you in. :)

You had a Buick, too? You can totally relate to the boatness, then. After being in my Neon for seven years, I have a difficult time judging the width of the Buick when driving around things. I'm afraid I'm going to lose a mirror or something driving past other cars. :) My first car was my dad's '89 Buick Century - which wasn't as big but still...Buick-y. :)

I'm going to miss my Neon - it's still in the driveway waiting until I get the title of both cars ready and can send it off to a charity. It was such a great little youthful car.

Thanks for adding me in. :)

Yes ma'am, I did have a Buick! It went caputs back in October '09 and is currently sitting in the garage haha. Buicks have such a big nose portion of the car! I had to drive my Mom's van around for a year after that. When I finally saved up enough to buy my own car (a VW GTI...also very youthful, you should go test drive one! ;D), it was a breeze to park!
