I had that happen to me once while driving (a motorhome no less, going down an off ramp in Colorado) and omg, I know exactly how you felt!! I'm so glad nothing bad happened, Honey!! *hugs*
Broken home, eh? Good you schooled him. I know how folks like to blame their fuck-ups on anyone but themselves, but there does come a point in your life where you've got to pull up your pants and be a grown-up. That means take the blame for your own shit. *HUGS* You're very smart.
And now, I'm paraniod about my own brakes that I can't afford to get fixed right now! *G*
It has its merits, but the excuses become ridiculous after a while. I can attribute bad habits/plain old bad shit on a lot of the things I went through as a kid, but I'm an adult. I put my Big Girl Panties on a while ago. ;)
oh good lord, I would have peed my pants (with the brakes failure!) I'm so glad you handled it with clear thought and got yourself to a gas station safely! D: How scary!!!!!
I'm so sorry about your brother. That must be so hard to watch. <3 **Hugs**
Oh god, I almost did, swear it. I was looking around me at all the traffic, whining in keening wails and biting my lip off. Stopping the car felt sooooo nice...
It is. Not much I can do about it, just gotta see wut all happens. *hugs back*
