Well, today started off with a 'bang', as in 'bang my head on the wall repeatedly'. The computer was messing up and panicking me, I couldn't find my Blackberry's disk to reinstall a f*&ked-up media manager file to get my vids and pics off... but NOW, it's finally worked! You had an amazing day! Until the "brats" came along and almost spoiled it (and I;m not talking about the little kids). Don't you hate it when someone elbows in and tells you what an "expert" they are, and all they can do is screw things up?

I don't know how you kept your cool with the chair-stealers. I would have whomped them upside the head with one of those chairs by the end of the evening. :D

Oh gawd, did they piss me off! It's not often I take on a bitch-tone, but when I'm pushed to my limit, I'll dish it out like hotcakes! :D I don't mind those who DO know their stuff--ran into a'plenty, but god, the "experts" and their stupidity...

What a brilliant day! Think of the little kids who'll date their fascination with astronomy from that first peep 'with your eyeball!' (That's a great phrase). Totally worthwhile thing, and a lot of great music to boot! Your Geek Out boys would love helping out there too. xx

Well, there's always a few idiots in every crowd, but overall, it sounds like a great day. Good food, good company, good music... what more could you want? Well, besides a couple of cute Geek Out boys smooching in the shadows?

It WAS overwhelming on the good, rather than the bad. The bad's just more "interesting" in some ways, I guess. I gto a taste of that thinly-veiled sexism, yay! Oh well, though! ;)
