The guys in this town are so freakin' sweet. Swear to god, nearly every one of them that comes into the store are so brilliantly nice and cheery. I went into work tonight, feeling dragged around and OH so tired, even with my afternoon nap. But after a small while, I felt such good vibes from customers that I felt pretty damned good

Btw, what is GED? I've seen it mentioned in fics but I don't quite know what it is. Is it like, a diploma that you take if you didn't finish your high school or something?

That's basically it; if you drop out or don't pass, you can take a GED (don't remember what it stands for, oh DUH...!), which basically gives you a pass into college, and it looks better than "dropped out" on applications and stuff. :)
