While I sit here, writing a soon-to-be-posted C/Z NC-17, my cat JenniWren is having her kittens *directly underneath and to the side* of me in the bunched blankets around her and I. It is way too cool.

She had two (thank GOD, not a big litter... we're in NO NEED OF THAT), and one that was stillborn and deformed. That was very very sad, but... happens.
Good news is is we have a *calico* one!! First one she's had. So uh we figured out the father... *gets shovel*
j/k...;)

HAHA! S'okay, I have another that I post with too! She's a good Momma, so she'll be good with the kittieses. One had deformation problems and was born stillborn (as I mentioned to mews above), but it happens. Something we can accept. They';re veddy veddy cute! :D

Our house, though smelly from cats using everything as a catbox lol... should be dubbed "Land of the Cute" at this point. It's cute kitten hell in here, though my best friend took one of the older ones home tonight... YAY! Love 'em but YAY! LOL.

No, no... I'd LOVE to have a PLETHORA of them, but our house is too small and we can't afford so many vet bills and the like. My best friend took one of the older ones last night (kickin'!) and she wants the calico one too, so I'll get to see them grow up! We had to bring the last bunches of kittens to the MSPCA, which was hard, but the FIRST one we brought... HAD to. he was getting really rough, scratched the HELL out of me and the like. He was so sweet at first, but his mother had gotten preggo again and was beating on him, so he turned pretty bad. The next three, our neighbors took one and the other two, again, MSPCA. The one that went to our neighbors happened at the best time; they'd just lost one of their fave cats and were really depressed. They gush about "Charlie" to us all the time, saying he's "really filled a void". They're all such good cats.
So NOW we have only TWO from the previous litter, and the next two that were JUST born, one's been claimed. I feel much better since we're finding them homes. :D
Wow, big reply... !:
