Ffnet just removed my story... *sob*

One of my favorite oneshots, a Juushirou x Shunsui story titled "Beauty", has just been removed from ffnet by the admins. Main reason for removal: "Rating: explicit content or adult content above current rating", their email notification said. The saddest part is, if you've read that story before, it's not even the most explicit one I have

Giving a warning before actually acting would be much more user friendly and professional. It's really sad to see that the admins treat the members and users with such disrespect.

I also hope the other ones are safe. :)

That's why I never put any of my fiction on that site. Why have a mature rating if they won't allow it all?

Yeah...kinda pathetic isn't it? They have a lot of functionality there that LJ doesn't, though. But AO3 appears to be catching up recently! ;)

Yeah I saw you drop me a note! When they discover the Bya/Ren/Shuu threesome I started reposting, they will have a bit of a conniption. Oh well. I think these decisions to remove are pretty random, like getting a parking ticket. You get away with it most of the time. They can't possibly read every single fanfic! Although, my sympathies on losing your reviews. When I took some of my fanfics down, I was sorry to see them go, too.

LOL yes, parking ticket is a good metaphor! (Is "metaphor" the right word?) I wonder if someone reported it, 'coz I can't imagine the admins going through the fics on that site.

Oh well, the reviews will forever remain in my memory. :D
