Thank you. I certainly will be writing more as I get to know the boys' personalities; as of right now I can only write from Ren's perspective, and maybe JD's and Baekho's if I tried. Eventually I'd like to feel comfortable writing all five.

I know I just left a comment on your other fic, but I couldnt't resist commenting on this one too. I love your take on Ren, but the line that caught my eye was:

Baekho and Dongho are the same person because Dongho doesn't know how to be anyone other than who he is--a happy, pleasant, friendly, touchy sixteen year old who is absolutely one-hundred-percent happy with his life.

because that's just so wonderfully accurate.

And you just alerted me to the fact that I have two 'happy's in that line (which, coincidentally, is also a hundred years long). >.>

I agree, though. Baekho is so forward about who he is, even mentioning how happy he is to get his 'new name' several times...he'd be the one to think that his stage persona is incredibly different, but would be the one with the least differences between his stage character and real life personality.

Really, thank you. It means a lot to me to get comments like this when I write something I'm not used to (like Baekren) because I'm always a bit unsure of whether I can manage to convince other people that they're real too. They're just reassuring.

I think, especially in Ren's case (because he's such a strong personality and so young as well) that trying to live as both has to be difficult. With his family it's Minki. With his fans it's Ren. With his bandmates it's both. I can only imagine how strange that would feel.

I agree. There's so many sides of him, and I think he himself is still figuring out what to show and what to hide. I wonder if other idols feel the same, or if they just get used to being another person.

Yes--like, I know that I read somewhere that he's been trying to smile more because his fans keep telling him he doesn't smile enough. Little things like that tip me off to the fact that it really can't be easy. Can you imagine having people expect so much of you, down to your facial expressions, at 16? It probably gets more normal as you're exposed to it more, but since they just debuted it's got to be pretty overwhelming.
