Ahh, Giacomo, sounds like a wonderful day where nothing could go wrong. I know these types of days. You look at everything differently. Everyone is beautiful, even if they're not. Life is just beautiful. Unfortunately, for us in the US today it could not be a beautiful day. Some crazed man made sure to that. So, I'm glad all the way over there in Italy you had one of 'those' days. Keep it fresh it your memory, because unfortunately, too, they are few and far between.
Yeah I heard about the VA Tech :( The summer of 2 years ago I did my exam of "Analytic Mechanics" at the departement of Mathematics of university of Bologna: the day after a boy arrived in a classroom of the same department where students were doing my same exam and killed one of the students by shooting him with a gun. I keep thanking God for having been there 1 day before.
