yeah. I always felt that there was a lot more to his cockiness then shown. He was never in a relationship, never really had a love life or anybody he loved at all. looking at it in slashed tinted sunglasses, everything about him seems like he was trying to prove something to keith. that he was right, or thar he was good enough. or that Keith missed out. at the same time, he had a hurt about him and a void only Keith filled and no matter how hard he tried to shake it, he couldn't deny his feelings for Keith. he would have still been with him if Keith approached him in that way. he was obsessed about making Keith fall in love with him. poor guy.

He was tortured and lonely though; such the tragic anti-hero. There was definitely some sexual tension. I mean to treat someone like he treated Keith only comes from caring enough to do so. He was heart-broken and kind of felt he betrayed himself by falling for Keith.
