I've been meaning to listen to Devendra Banhart. So, I downloaded his discography. :} I'll check him out & get started on your mix sometime this week. Once it's done, I'll email you so I can get a mailing address to send it on. :}

You don't have to make me a mix, because I'm paranoid of getting a virus so I don't download with the exception of iTunes.
I just wanted to add that I love the art of the mix tape (I sometimes go with the cassette, if I have one laying around). I understand why you're upset. It's a very personal thing. It's not just throwing songs randomly on a playlist. It's putting them in order so they flow and even tell a story. I feel really silly saying this about a mix, but that's what it is, right? Tell me I'm not alone here.

that's exactly it. well, I was actually planning on making the mixes and burning them to cds & mailing it. I wanted email addresses so that I could email people to get their mailing addresses. :} if you would like me to mail you one, I will do it.

You know, sometimes I think the people closest to us get too comfortable with us because we're always around them, and they begin to take us for granted. I know this happens a lot with my friends. My best friend, in particular, will sometimes forget to tell me about a party or plans she's made with a group of our mutual friends because she naturally just assumes I can read her mind and I'll just show up cause I kick ass and I'm clairvoiyant. lol. It's hard to understand but try not to be sad about it. Your friend probably didn't mean anything by it so smile, girlie. Smile! :]
