Characters: whatsacliche and rainingcereal Setting/Location: Finn's room Date & Time: Backdated to day 29, afternoon Warnings: SINGING. Summary: Neil's getting a singing lesson. \o/
Neil wasn't the music sort of guy either. There was a boy in school who taught him how to play the guitar once, but it had been so long ago, Neil wasn't sure if he could still play. Then there were the occasional drunk karaoke singing, those crazy old days with Wendy and Eric back in the only hole-in-the-wall karaoke bar that Hutchinson had.
But like Finn, he wasn't against making more friends either. Friends that weren't interested in him for sex. He talked big, he made coy invitations, because that was what Neil McCormick did. But after what happened at Brighton Beach, Neil wasn't sure if he could still put out. He wasn't sure if the next contact of bare skin against bare skin, of harsh breathing against his ear, wasn't going to send him scrambling for the bathroom, and emptying his stomach into it.
So yeah, he could do glee club, it was worth a try. At least, that was what Neil told himself as he raised his hand and knocked on the door, waiting for the younger man to answer it.
Finn wasn't nervous, exactly, but he did get an excited little jump in his stomach when he heard the knock. He hoped this went well. If it didn't, Kurt would probably be mad for bringing him in. That is, if they kept up the Schuester style of not turning anyone away.
However, Finn knew they should just start slow. As much as he tended to have a hard time doing that, he knew that the whole singing and dancing thing could be overwhelming. Of course, since Neil was gay--
No, no that was wrong. Okay. Moving on, forget about that.
Finn swung the door open, and immediately found himself confused. This wasn't...who he thought he had been talking to. "Neil?"
"The one and only," Neil smirked, leaning against the door frame. The boy said he was sixteen. He didn't look sixteen. In fact, he looked old enough to fall within Neil's hunting ground.
Resist, McCormick.
The look on confusion on Finn's face was not lost either, and Neil could hazard a guess as to why. "I take it you've seen Arthur around?"
"...I guess? Are you guys like--" Twins wasn't the word. The other guy was a lot older. "Brothers...?" Even that seemed...weird. This was more like seeing a picture of him in an old yearbook.

Freaky.
Finn stepped aside, letting Neil by. "Come in."
