Once Arthur had gotten properly treated for the wound on his shoulder, he decided that he should at least go take a look around this Caravan (which was unlike anything he'd ever seen before - because, since when were giants pulling around towering castle-like buildings comparable to the little carriage he'd had in mind?). It didn't take long for him to get lost, but even that did help introduce him to all sorts of new rooms.

It was as he'd been turning around the bend going out of one of the lobbies that he had the misfortune of running into something rather large and well, solid. He pulled himself away from the cold scales (what?) and opened his mouth to retort.

"Can't you look where you're-"

His eyes widened as he realized just who, or should he say what, he'd walked into. This was not what he'd been expecting at all.

"If it isn't the prince himself," Kilgarrah rumbled, aware that his reduced stature made the sound significantly less intimidating. He stood, maybe, a hand taller than Arthur now and it was humiliating, though he didn't let it show. "What were you saying?"

It took a moment for Arthur to fully realize that although the dragon stood before him, something about him was really very strange.

For one, he could see eye to eye with the beast and last he remembered, it had been more like eye to claw. He sent a wary glance to the same claws before focusing on the matter at hand.

Because shrunken or not, it was still the dragon who was currently causing destruction to Camelot (or was he?), and it really was better to be safe than sorry. He drew his sword and pointed it at the dragon before speaking.

"Don't move."

Arthur pulled out his sword and Kilgarrah began to laugh, the sound welling up from his chest and shaking his frame.

"Or you'll do what, young prince?" he taunted, flicking his tail and looking the boy over with open amusement. "Kill me as your father did the rest of my kin?"
