Naruto was the type to help anyone and everyone. As soon as he heard the coughing over his device, he felt concerned. He hadn't been here hardly any time at all, but already his need to help out someone was getting the better of him

Yoite was actually scared. The moment the Shadow clone turned up so suddenly only to vanish again and be replaced shortly after with the real boy? He thought he was back home and that maybe this was the work of a rival village.

The though sank in and even as Naruto called out to ask his small few questions, Yoite didn't hear him. A mixture of his deafness and sheer panic, the possibility that this ninja was here to finish Yoite off? ... he might have even been the one that took Miharu! was this all just a trap?

"Get back!! " Raising too fast, dizzy from the sudden rush of blood draining from his head made Yoite tumbled back. The finger that was pointed for Naruto shot its Kira missing him only by a fraction and blowing a hole out of the building behind him.

Naruto blinked a few times. He'd moved just an inch, but he didn't know if it was his ninja reflexes or the other boy's poor aim that had saved him. Out of instinct, he'd activated the hidden kunai mechanism and caught the small weapon just as it shot out the end of his sleeve.

"OI! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!" he asked, letting his rash nature take over for a second. Upon closer inspection, it looked like Yoite was more scared and confused than anything. Naruto took a deep breath and held up his hands, letting the kunai retract back into his sleeve.

"Just take it easy! I'm here to help you!"

Trembling. His finger slowly curling back into his palm. It looked as though he was trying to move himself forwards? No, Yoite was convulsing. His chest pulsing as he tried not to cough, all to no avail of course as he doubled over and spewed out a lungful of blood from over his blue lips, only just getting his hand there in time to cover his mouth.

Despite being in the face of a stranger, Yoite curled up and pushed himself as close as he could to the wall. ".... I .. I don't need your help any more ... you can leave. " He uttered in a weak sounding voice feeling a little strange about something he didn't quite understand.

Naruto had come all this way, wasted energy, and here Yoite was just trying to brush him off? ... if only he knew the type of person Naruto was, he'd realize it was pointless trying to convince him he was alright.
