Minako would have preferred to make a grander entrance than this. Maybe appearing on top of one of the buildings, posing dramatically, the good stuff from her Sailor V days, but these half-crumbling buildings looked dubious, and she was still tired and sore from the tangle with the forest creature earlier that day. Clambering up the building would hurt ( ... )

Face stared up at the giant in disbelief. He'd been told about Grandore, so the large man's existence shouldn't have been quite the surprise it was; still, it wasn't every day he ran across men quite that large. He approached, slowly and somewhat stealthily, keeping an eye out for Murdock or maybe someone who looked like they could explain things.

He stopped nearby the gargantuan, but not so near that he felt he wouldn't have a chance to get away should he have to run. He mused to himself about whether B.A. would be an even match for creature. The thought had him cracking a smile despite his unease about the situation.

He slid his hands into his pocket and loitered just out of reach of the giant, hoping not to have long to wait.

Morrigan was less than impressed. She'd known, after all, that with all of the attacks upon these newcomers within the forest that this trouble, too, would come upon them. She peered at them from the entrance to the caravan before hopping onto the ground below, sashaying over to the collecting group - though keeping her distance from both them and the giant's stench. She folded her arms across her chest, wishing she had still had a cloak within her posession to protect her from this heat. Instead, she closed her eyes, casting a small spell that would imbue her staff with the chill of ice - it would, beyond being useful to her as a weapon, keep some of the heat at bay.

Such things were useful, in time. Her eyes narrowed briefly at noticing the faces of those she had not seen before. Such hospitality was more trouble than it was worth, certainly.

Gau frowned, fiddling with the junogram. He was still working out how the strange device worked. He hadn't noticed a power source. Alternate universe laptops made him suspicious, like most things. He was still looking towards the woods.

No reply from Raikou. If he was there, anyway.

He was torn with what to do...there was a small crowd forming around the giant, and the massive caravan. Information wouldn't be bad... He thought he could see a hair ribbon and a blond head that looked an awful lot like it belonged to the transforming schoolgirl from the woods.

Well...if people from his group of newfound comrades were listening...whoever this guy was, the giant-thing didn't seem to mind him. Maybe he was the leader of that caravan.

If this was the only way out like he'd been hearing, he'd have to find a way to join the caravan as it was. Working for his passage, maybe. Yoite was there. And in bad shape--far worse than he'd seen him in when he'd left...

One thing at a time.

Gau's brain could only really handle one thing at a time as ( ... )

Davin leaned back and looked over the caravan with a dubious eye -- although it wasn't like anyone else could see the face he was making under his helmet. There had to be more effective ways to travel than via giant-wagon-pulled-by-huge-thing. What kind of backwater planet was this?

His blaster rifle was slung over his shoulder, close at hand. He was a little worried about the suggestion to come armed -- how well could this ragtag group defend itself, anyway? -- but then again, appearances could be deceiving. He'd certainly learned that lesson several times over since he'd enlisted.
