Yoite had not long since woke up from his rest while hiding inside a closet for the night to make sure he was out of the way. The caravan was in a town? He was sure of that from the sounds of people coming in and out of the caravan, did this mean new passengers? Perhaps Miharu was out there? He would be looking for a way home just like he was before he went missing that was for sure, Yoite could maybe find him and keep him company like he always used to

Gau's body froze as the lock was tried. The shuffling walk definitely sounded like a delinquint...some thief sneaking in on the house, probably to take everything in it. (Unlike Gau, who was raiding for only absolutely necessary items.)

The would-be ninja swallowed again, trying not to move a muscle.

Chances were, the thief would move on, or go for the window. Gau started calculating and planning-

Squinting faded lapis lazuli hues as he loomed forwards, his giraffe-like height over the smaller shinobi's form. Dry pale blue lips parted and that breath of ammonia and death would have passed over Gau's face had he been standing a little closer.

The confusion was clean in his face as tears welled up in the corners of his eyes. No, Gau couldn't be here too? that just ... it just wasn't fair! why did he have to be here? lost and frightened by the feel of his aura. Yoite pressed a hand to his chest as the other caught himself from tumbling over, really, he should have known better than to use Kira so thoughtlessly.

Exhaling in a displaced sigh as he slumped to the floor before his fellow ninja, his hat slipping from his head as all that long flowing thin and dying hair fell free to cascade down over his shoulders and chest. "Miharu? ... Miharu is with Gau? " He was so sure that's how he was able to feel Gau there.

Gau tried to catch him as he dropped back into that funny crouching position he'd always seen him take in Yukimi's home... No mistake. It was Yoite. Granted, significantly further along in the...uhm...hair than he'd last seen him, but...

"Yeah." Gau said in a low undertone, eyeing the street beyond just in case other people decided to spot them. Yoite looked like a black puddle, kahaki dust and splinters settling on his coat. He'd probably pass for a shadow, Gau decided reluctantly. He didn't dare try to touch him to move him. Bad idea, with Yoite.
