Setting/Location: District 1, heading into District 2

Summary: Well, all these people can stand around talking endlessly. Amaterasu's following her nose, because they've all forgotten one very important thing. Feel free to have Amaterasu start sniffing around your character!
Ever since she woke up, Amaterasu has wandered. She met a child and women and a couple of boys who smelled of home. She's listened to conversations and heard new stories and gotten scratched behind the ears. She's looked for treasure and come up empty. It's been a busy morning, but there was a problem:
Most people were still wandering around and talking about things. She padded past a person hunched over one of those little magical devices, typing away furiously and not glancing over at her as she passed. She snorted. "Leap before you think!" Issun always said, and it had served Ammy well. Now she had to wait for the caravan to leave, but that didn't mean she just had to stand around and do nothing.
...Besides, she was hungry. Didn't these people want to eat? Well, there was no reason she had to wait on anyone else; she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself.
So Amaterasu was wandering again, this time with her nose to the ground, heading (without realizing it) in the direction of District 2. Still, she got sidetracked by a couple of other smells; there were a lot of interesting ones about.
