Setting/Location: Starting from the Caravan, then making their way through the woods to the newbies and to the ghost town.

Marston didn't know exactly whom he was lookin' for - other than it was a lady, that much was for sure. Granted, he wasn't so sure 'bout a woman leading the rescue party, as it were - but she sounded sure of herself, like it'd been something she'd done before, and Marston wasn't 'bout to go questioning the skills of a woman without seriously considering whether or not he'd be just fine with his neck being broken. Least, that's what Abigail woulda done. Lord, did he miss his lady, and their son - 'specially after having such a brief moment of respite with them, now only to be fighting his way back. Again. Marston was none too pleased, but he figured it'd be better if he put his skills to good use, being a pretty darn good crack shot after all. Of course, he wasn't 'bout to go spewing off how he'd been an outlaw and run with Dutch's gang - the less people knew, the less animosity he'd have to deal with

Even though she'd already been on the Caravan for a few days, River had long since grown tired of the place. Going out to rescue a few lost souls seemed to be a better use of her time rather than simply waiting around, and it would get her out. She'd had enough time spent in small enclosed places to last her the rest of her life. Even if now she could walk around freely, the feel was the same

The two entered the lobby at about the same time. Diana stood from leaning against the wall and approached Marston with her hand out to shake.

"I am," she said simply, "It's a pleasure to meet you in person. You are John, I'm guessing? Your accent is unmistakable."

In fact, it reminded her of the person that many considered the "original" American superhero, Jonah Hex. She had met him in person once or twice, and she remembered him as a rather interesting man. The life of the American cowboy was fascinating, though odd, to an Amazon princess. The cowboy that stood before her was no different, but she was always polite.

Once River entered, she smiled to her. "Hello. You must be River."

Despite the debonair manner Face had put on during his conversation about his rescue, the conman wasn't feeling entirely as confidant as he had tried to sound. He never really liked to appear vulnerable in front of a woman; "Wonder Woman" or not, he had a date riding on this and the last thing she needed was an excuse to duck out. If he was going to wake up in a strange forest without so much as an explanation, the least he deserved was a nice dinner with a beautiful woman.

And she had better be beautiful

Davin and Kevin are with Metis.

Metis had successfully navigated through the woods to the empty town with her two other party members, Davin Felth and that.. silent one who she couldn't get any readings off of. All living things projected a signal, which Metis interpreted into images that conveyed intentions, feelings, and in terms of animals, thoughts and conversation. She was on the edge looking in, and it seemed someone was nearing the town, so she stepped inside to guide them over.

"Whoever's there, you can come out. You're almost out of the forest. The town's just up ahead. We have to hurry up."

She sensed it was definitely a human, not... whatever Kevin was and not the presence that had all but run the three out of the woods ominously. Metis was feeling a bit grumpy; it'd been two days now and she desperately wanted all this shuffling around in the woods to be over so that the Caravan would come and she could finally meet Aigis face to face, as she'd been wanting from the start.

This time, I hope I'm not going out of turn?

"Whoever's there, you can come out. You're almost out of the forest. The town's just up ahead. We have to hurry up."

Face breathed a momentary sigh of relief. Sure, he didn't know who exactly it was that addressed him, but on the other hand, at least they weren't something looking to eat him. He flashed a smile and lightened his stance (though he didn't completely lower his guard).

"So, this is the rescue party?"

There was only one woman amongst the others and she did not look like Wonder Woman. He was a bit disappointed, to tell the truth.
