Ichigo had woken up in this stupid cell only a little while ago to the sound of the voice that had accused them all of theft. Not the best way to wake up, all things considered, but considering where he thought he'd been just seconds before he would take it. He'd had to breathe in a few deep breaths and rub his eyes before he believed he was away from that horrible situation ( ... )

Billy had made a point to not respond to the voice himself. He got enough information out of his own cell mates talking to the harsh-sounding beast and frankly, he had nothing he wanted to say to it. And he didn't want to press his luck either. Talking this out between cell mates was a much safer idea ( ... )

"Hn... well that figures..." He muttered to himself, not entirely pleased with the notion that they had no idea who their jailer was. Not knowing who they were meant their motives were even more uncertain. It gave more credit to that weird guy York's theory that all of this was some giant murder plot for someone's sick kicks.

"Not a clue. He won't tell anyone what we stole because, obviously, we should already know since we took it." The sarcasm was thick in his voice while he turned around to lean back against the bars. It didn't make sense that the... whatever that had them wouldn't at least explain what he was missing.

Kind of made this whole finding the item thing harder. "Maybe if we get him here to see us we can just knock him out and take the key. Or whatever opens these doors."

"....Right. Because that makes perfect sense." Billy snorted along with Ichigo's sarcasm. Rounding up cells worth of prisoners and hoping at least one of them took the stolen items. Now why didn't the Evil League of Evil work like that? Oh. Because it was ridiculously stupid.

It made any hopes of getting away worse. There was no way they were going to find it, much less get someone to confess. Why were the ones with all the power always the idiots? "I don't know, I guess that could work but his voice sounds kinda, uh, huge? But there are a decent amount of us in here."
