She might not have been in the north towers, but from the South towers, she could at least catch sight of someone else... outside of them? On them, in fact! For a minute or so, Sakura just watches. As the man (she assumes it's a man, he's pretty bulky to be a girl), climbs out of the window and proceeds to scale upwards.

Up goes her window, and she leans out a little, eyes narrowed. What was he doing?

"Hey! Uh.. I don't think that's very safe..!" Who knew if he could hear her from over on the south tower, but still.

Altair had ascended to around the halfway point on the tower by the time the voice caught his attention. It wasn't very clear, but he certainly heard something. He made sure his footing was secure, reaching up to hold onto a stranger's windowsill before he allowed himself a look backward.

There, on one of the southern towers. The unmistakable flash of pink, and what looked like a concerned young woman leaning out her own window. Was she trying to caution him?

"I'm making an observation of the area!" Altair called back. He merely had to hope she wouldn't take issue with his methods--if she raised some sort of alarm, there was no telling what kind of trouble he'd be in. As a rule, he generally liked to avoid unnecessary attention.

[ooc. DID YOU SAY CLIMBING, ohohoho i think you did. the Prince is going to post after this (OR AT LEAST THAT'S THE PLAN) if that's cool with you bb. If not then that's ok too, just let me/Sia know. o/]It had taken Elika quite a bit of effort to get her companion to climb to the roof with her, but despite his complaints, she felt the exertion was worth it. Watching the sun rising over the valleys and groves of trees, the flocks of birds trailnig in the wind: it was certainly something she'd ached for when they'd been fighting the Corruption. The other upside was being able to spend a quiet moment away from the throngs of people inside the Caravan before the day's hustle and bustle began: Elika hadn't realized just how content she'd become with solitude in all those years. Going from sporadically interacting with a handful of people to...this, was a very abrupt change ( ... )

"-- should I, Princess?" he called back up, watching his breath fade from white to clear in steady puffs. When he'd told her to wake him if she needed anything, anything at all -- if you caught his winking drift -- this wasn't really what he'd had in mind. He wouldn't have minded if Elika had just wanted to talk, but did they really have to hold all of their conversations on the side of a moving tower? They couldn't have just found somewhere indoors? With food, maybe?

This tower may have not been collapsing for once, but no. No, he really didn't think so.

Still, all things considered, he was enjoying the view. He'd have to ask her to take the lead more often. It made clinging to a giant's backpack that much more bearable.

As for the man in white... "Chances are I may have spoken to him on the Juno-thing --" he reached, pulled, managed to cling to the sill beside Elika's "-- but I don't think I've heard of anyone wearing a small armoury, no. Still -- you up for a little game?"

Of course it had to be on the side of a moving building. If it was collapsing or on the verge of doing just that, so much the better, and if it was already in ruins, why, that was just a fantastic conversation starter. You'd think he'd know this by now.

To his question, she made a vague hand gesture. "You seem incredibly capable at getting to know everyone, so I thought I'd ask," was her response. It wasn't that far from the truth: certainly his social skills were better than her own.

When he climbed up to the sill next to her, she was able to catch that telltale glimpse of mischief in his eyes. She arched a brow and curiously peered over his shoulder at the white figure before looking back at him. Her tone was playful when she spoke. "Well, that depends--what kind of game did you have in mind?"

"A race, of sorts --" he grinned, did his best to make it rakish "-- you and me, top of this tower. Winner gets to gloat, loser gets a nice view. Extra points if either one of us makes it to the top before whitey over there --" and he jerked his head at the guy on the other tower.

Surely wearing that much cloth at once had to have some kind of effect on a man's speed.
