[A young boy steps out of the inn to look around, head tilted up, turning left and right at the surrounding area. Still staring at the skyline of the village, he starts walking backwards. Not realizing he was near a corner, his back bumps into a firm figure and loses his balance, wobbling a bit before turning around.]

Whoa! Huh?!

Jack nodded and put his hands on his hips. "Sure, if we're gonna fight bad guys all the time, we have to keep practicing right? Sis made me train every morning!"

He then scratched his cheek at the second thing the man said. "Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" Jack asked, perplexed at the lack of detail.

Awkward, the kid was really eager, but Shizuo wasn't interested in breaking him in half because he couldn't control his strength.

"I'm not a fighter. Forget it."

Jack wondered if this guy was one of those broody cool types or just being mean. Then again, he realized that they had just met, so it made sense that Sheezuoh wouldn't say much, especially if his job was like one of those undercover missions. Yeah, that's it.

"Uh, okay!" he said a little quieter but still grinning with anticipation. "Hey, Sheezuoh, I'm gonna keep looking around, but if you ever need help," he bumped his own chest confidently with his fist, "I'll be glad to back you up! We're friends now, right?"

Friends? What was with this kid? They'd only just met.

Jack gave him a wide grin and a quick wave as he stepped past Shizuo and continued in the direction he was going before they collided. "See you around!" Within moments, he disappeared among the crowd and buildings.

Hhuh. What a cheerful kid. And he hadn't pissed him off at all, really.

Not bad.

Shizuo watched him run off, then turned back to the path to no-where-in-particular he had been taking before.
