Nodoka flushed when the boy turned, shifting awkwardly where she sat and placing her hands on her lap quickly. She didn't want to give the appearance of being a nervous little schoolgirl (that's not what she was, not anymore!) and so she did her best to steel her expression. Nothing could fight down the blush on her cheeks, however, or the nervous twitch of her fingers as she felt his eyes brush over her. It didn't feel as though he was examining her, nothing like she had become used to over time, but it was uncomfortable, being so very close and so very unfamiliar to this person

"Oh, no, that's alright!" Nodoka replied gently. She offered Beyond another smile, bright and simple, before glancing around. She was tired and wanted to rest, to calm after her embarrassment, but she didn't want to seem rude - she had accepted his offer for dinner, however, so surely he wouldn't mind if she went to find her room? Shifting from one foot to the other nervously, Nodoka made a small humming noise.

"It was nice to meet you, Beyond-san, b-but I'm quite tired. I hope you don't mind if I... I-If I go and find my room now."

"Ah! No, of course not; I've been keeping you. How rude of me."

His tone was flat now, his focus already shifting back to L. Nodoka was now a distraction, engaging with her felt now like the aftermath of a task he'd accomplished. Beyond managed to flash a distracted grin before bowing shallowly again and turning toward the interior of the caravan, ready to investigate it now.
