McNeill tried to keep his pace steady, but it proved to be difficult. He had spent a good deal of time sleeping on the escape ship from the Ishimura, and the stress was wracking his body. Still, there was a sense of urgency pushing him further. Weller was in bad shape. Even if the painkillers Lexine had given him kept him stable, it wasn't clear when it would wear off.

"He said something about a fork in a road. A three-way split?" That's what McNeill was going to keep an eye out for.

"Three-way split?" Hm... Oh! She did remember seeing one of those further into the District. It would take maybe five minutes to get there on the ground, but... She wasn't really sure just grabbing the man out of nowhere and leaping up onto the rooftops would be so great.

For him or for her. So the ground it was!

"This way, I know where that is. I know there's a similar one in District Three though, so lets just hope it's this one." She murmured that last bit to herself.

"You do?" Well, that was reassuring. McNeill glanced over towards Sakura, then at the road ahead of them. Maybe this wouldn't take as long as he thought it would. "Well, hopefully Weller hasn't moved too far from there. He tends to get.. anxious."

That was enough to get him to pick up the pace. With a sharp inhale, he started walking a bit faster, if just to speed things up. At least he didn't suffer any injuries to his legs; that would have made things ten times worse.

Sakura probably wouldn't have let him continue on with her if his legs had been in bad shape. But they weren't, so she wasn't.

And on they went, winding around the strange district full of inns and housing complexes, Sakura slowing every few minutes to make sure McNiell hadn't fallen behind, and to check her surroundings.

"Over here. Down this street and one block to the left." She motioned the spoken direction, keeping her eyes down at her hands as they fished through her pouch which had previously taken housing at the small of her back.

Weller couldn't decide if he wanted to stay put or go looking but the pain in his abdomen won out and kept him still. He hadn't been lying when he said the bleeding had slowed, but it was more likely due to the fact he was running low on the stuff as opposed to the wound sealing up.

Whatever Lexine had injected him with left him with enough energy to pace. The nap on the shuttle had did a little in that area but the blood-loss largely counteracted that, leaving him groggy but determined to stay on his feet.

At least until McNeill and the girl arrived.

"Got it," He replied to Sakura, sounding a bit more determined as he walked with more insistence. If they could just find Weller, then things could move along much more smoothly. Taking care of that wound would mean they'd be better prepared for whatever else that could be thrown in their way.

Not to mention he was getting worried. He didn't have the time to really look at his wound when they left the Ishimura. From how he sounded, the pain must have been kicking up again.
