Isn't this is insurance fraud. Why can't you visit a doctor? Do you not have insurance? If not, that sucks, I'm in the same boat, but still according to 1800contacts.com they require a prescription with every order.

Also, how do you know you need a prescription for -3.50 lenses if you haven't been to the doctor in four years? It's possible your eyes have changed over time.

i do not have insurance.

the last rx (prescription) i got was for -3.25. i'd been street buying that one since. but over the years, my eyes got a little blurrier and the only rx somebody had available was -3.50 (the very next strength up) so i got it and it was perfect. :) i now suspect that i might be -3.50 in my left and -3.75 in my right.

(actually, i completely forgot until this post but i had actually been -3.00 in one eye and -3.25 in the other eye but i completely forgot because i'd been getting the same rx for both b/c i had been desperate for lenses)

Odd. I completely screwed up my 1800Contacts order because my doctor's office didn't pick up the first time they called, and they apparently just give up after that.
