I'm not in Albany anymore, but I have a friend in the area who's looking for someone to knit a hat for her fiance as a wedding present. Does anyone here offer such services, or know someone who does? Please comment, and I will forward the information to my friend. Thanks in advance!

There is also the "Spinning seed" store in Troy - She knits and makes clothes for her shop, and I'm assuming she would do a custom work too.

I couldn't remember her name at first, but Jess Lyons is a popular Esty person in the area for knitting. Check out her blog showing some custom-made hats for the Olympics!
