A Zoe/Wash fic rec, and an older Zoe/Wash fic post

This morning I read an excellent Zoe/Wash fic by leven_kemal called Cold, Cold Ground that takes place following "The Message." It's a nice piece of work and I highly recommend it.

I love Wash in this. Zoe too, of course, but I love Wash because you get that he's not just goofy and funny and there to be protected by Zoe - he gives as much to her as she gives to him.

Hope you're feeling better today!

This is the part where I say "Ilove you Kit!"
Thanks so much.

Always in the mood for some Zoe/Wash. This was so sweet, and in character for both of them. You showed very well how Zoe has managed to heal somewhat through her love for Wash, and the way he loves and cares for her. I like how you brought Mal into this, and the way he's still broken and hollow and has found no real reason to move on from the war, whereas Zoe has. Well done!

I really enjoyed this. You have Zoe and Wash both very well written, and I love seeing that side of Zoe that can let her guard down. And the ending was very suitable, and sad. I should watch the episode again, then read this fic again. Maybe I'll do that. :)

Thanks, AbN. I should watch this episode again, too. I love rediscovering. I'm glad you enjoyed. And you're welcome to read this fic again as many times as you want, along with any of the others, no charge. : )

Glorious. And beautiful. You've captured the essence and created this little scene of quietude and it is wonderful. So in character, just exactly right!
