Warning for death of a major character, and for blood and violence though it's not described explicitly in the prompt. Anyway um... writing out all the specifics of the universe for this prompt ended up taking almost twice the character limit for LJ comments (wow embarrassing!!), so I'll post a few paragraphs here and if you're interested, the full prompt can be found at my LiveJournal. This is an amazing prompt. Though I can't guarantee I'll fill, I'm going to start a rough of the first bit to see how it flies. Either way, I love this idea.

And like I said before, I'd love a chance to collaborate with someone on this idea (plot-wise or with illustrations or even as a co-writer), so if you're comfortable de-anoning (via LJ's private message system or any other site) (and/or with the admittedly vague offer of sharing a prompt to begin with hahaha), I have a whole bunch more half-baked ideas regarding this prompt that I'd love to dump onto anyone interested :B
