It was a modest holding, all told, the edges of firm, stone walls blurred and softened by the sweet, green moss. It was a haven in these twisted parts, untouched by the shadow blight that had so twisted everything else...

Even the keep, a largem central building held no ghost. The doors had long since rotted away, as well as anything within, leaving naught but a large chamber full of green, the comforts of nature, with a sturdy stone roof. There was even a fountain of clear, sweet water in the courtyard, oddly clear of choking plantlife.

Needless to say, Khemrys herself had taken full adavantage of the day, washing bedding and clothing sore in need of such. The courtyard still held teh drying remnants from eah pack, Khemrys herself happily culed asleep on the moss in the Keep.

Jason is sprawled on the moss not far away, and rolls over towards Khemrys in his sleep, smiling at whatever dream he was having. It's a warm night and he's shed his shirt, though he left on the jeans at Elizabeth's insistence.

Well, he would have left them on regardless, but it was fun to argue with her.

It's odd what can become fun, once people become friends really. Arguing among those things.

Elizabeth was stretched out, contently asleep not all that far from Jason. Her head was buried in her arms, and she looked very much like a sleeping cat sprawled out like she was.

*Yrael had taken advantage of every scrap of sunlight during the day, sleeping deeply in the warmth. He is content to continue to catnap into the dusk, his head resting against a large clump of moss that serves very well as a makeshift pillow. Mmm.*
