I don't have any subscriptions that come monthly.. But I do get the following :

Interweave Knits (IK) 4 times a yr
Wild Fiber 4 times a year
And I occassionally pick up:
Vogue Knitting about 2 times a yr
Spin Off about 2 times a yr

I do keep them all too.

I've cut back my magazines massively, all things considered. Back when Buffy was airing, I was grabbing Cult Times/Starlog/Dreamwatch/etc all the time. Then I switched to getting several cross stitch magazines, usually the pricey British ones. Now I'll occasionally pick up Cross Stitcher or New Stitches, if there's a pattern that just speaks to me immediately.

But I need my manga fix so I always get Shoujo Beat every month. I've been tempted to get a subscription, but I've heard such horror stories about their service that I've always changed my mind.

And I always get the Oscar issue of Vanity Fair. Always. It's a tradition, like popcorn and red carpet snarking.

American Libraries comes with my membership to the American Library Association.

I buy Doctor Who.

That's about it. Occasionally, I'll pick up a craft magazine, and I'm not counting comic books.

Oh and once a year, I'll buy the Old Farmer's Almanac once a year, and I keep forgetting to pick one up this year.

More - dames over 40 lookin' good!
Poets & Writers - writing inspiration
Lucky - I don't even open it some months

Hmm, can that be all? I think that's all. I'm the gal who once told a telemarketer with a fantastic deal that the idea of 7 magazines coming into my home every month fills me with despair.

PS I know (online) the guy who writes food for them. He's also a big Buffy fan and is a medical examiner for his day job.
