I finally went to see Serenity last night. I went with Sarah, who is also a fan, and Mr. HomeGoddess who has only seen the pilot "Serenity" and "Out of Gas." Here is my initial thought, which hasn't changed after sleeping on it:

I shouldn't have been so surprised about what happened, I mean, I've seen his other shows, but I was unspoiled and although I enjoyed a lot of the movie, I was very upset. Mr. HG has to keep reminding me that it's not real.
