Very sound.

There is already a working system using this concept on Fair Isle, which derived the majority of its electricity by wind turbine. with diesel back up.

Consumers homes incldue storage heaters supplied from a radio controled switch, the switch command being sent from the electricity generating station automatically when high wind conditions prevail
