Ahaha, yeah, I've kinda been neglecting my lj. I'm a lot more active on twitter, since it's taken over my brain because it's just right THERE on my smartphone, and LJ's android ap is a total POS. Plus, nothing really exciting enough has been happening to warrant blogging about. My life is pretty boring now

Glad to hear that you're alive and well. I missed seeing you here. Twitter (and facebook) are okay, but they're all different and I find I keep coming back to LJ.

As for what's new: not much. The Boston Marathon was today - the start line is close to where I live. We had some of the hottest weather on record for the race (near 90 degrees and a lot more humid than predicted), so something like 4000 people dropped out.

Hhhmm yeah, if you're not getting anything out of chorus, then I'd quit for awhile. People tend to keep going to things like that out of sheer habit, but if you're not getting anything out of it, best to let it go and reassess what you are really want in your daily life.

Quite a few adult students at work are like this. they come just because they've *always* come, but they don't actually learn or improve and we go in circles all the time. Ugh.

I'm all grad school, all the time. Except that next weekend, I'm driving up to visit my parents in Yosemite.
