Robb is a professional, and he is dealing with a 90 year old (she sounded a little southern, but she could be a yankee transplant and they can be worse than Southerners, especially when old age kicks in and she forgets to be fake polite on race) and he just has to pat the old fart on the head and realize she isn't a threat unless her dentures are extra sharp.

I'd say she was more a bigot and ignorant about all the programs she mentioned. Plus her children are probably baby boomers, so horrible spoiled brats with no morals, so she is a fool to pity, and Mr. Harleston is too professional to react, though I could also see him smirking at her ignorance.
