I was the one who made a deal with Paddy to steal the drugs. He was only following what I asked of him. I know that will not affect his punishment, but I cannot...continue with this guilt.

Not if I can help it.

And I'd like to point out that his coming here wasn't exactly my choice. I'm not happy about most of the shit that's happened because of it, but at the same time, I doubt there was any other way I'd see him for who he is.
