Indeed! Though I was more referring to the fact that I wasn't wearing someone's sweaty socks. I might have once been an angel, but I still think human sweat is...disgusting. Especially when it's on the feet.

I always take them off when I drink. It's an old rule: asleep with your shoes on? Passed out and fair game. Asleep with them off? Asleep and off limits.
