It's strange but, without Dean here, things seem a little...strange. Quieter. I do hope he's enjoying himself, wherever he is. Though, I suppose when I left, I didn't enjoy much of anything.

We are falling back into a lull on the ship, which is a good sign, but I'm wary of it. Does that make me paranoid?

It does not make you paranoid. I feel much the same way, Castiel. It is hard to tell what is around the corner and these times of quiet often lead to worse things, things that are much harder to deal with each time.

Though it shames me to admit as such, I cannot confess to knowing what a lighter is. I am quite certain we might come to some arrangement as to how they can be lit.

A lighter is like having flint and steel mixed with fuel together in a small device that fits into your hand. It doesn't matter. Matches will do fine. And no. I have never had the ability to conjure fire.

It did seem a trifle odd. I dare say I have found stranger aboard this ship, howe'er, and it would not cause such a state of fright now as it once would.
