Oh! That's a very good question.

Do you have any idea on how someone would know? It seems as though it is full of complicated things. Much more so than the simple love you feel for your family or friends.

I see.

Not until it hits me.

But such things are impossible.

[he thinks he knows how to respond using this thing, so ...]

By the pain it causes.

;w; sorry for the edit, thought of a better response illuminatism November 6 2010, 00:02:53 UTC
[if only he could see the frown she's making...]

Love is something that hurts, then. So it's not at all that odd that thinking of ever parting from his has made my chest ache before?

[he knows of which he speaks, oh yes]

Not even remotely an odd event, I'm sorry to say.

Love is pain. Be grateful that you have -- or so it seems -- someone whose side you don't want to be leaving; that makes a more pleasant kind of pain than you could be having to endure.

I do not know why I had been hoping it would.

I have seen the pain that love brings to people, as well as the joy and happiness that sprouts from its branches. But such a thing such as that is confusing.

This is ... the first time I have ever felt as such for one person.

Well... I can't speak for myself, but I hear you feel all sorts of weird stuff when you are.

Really? Do you know what sort of weird stuff?

It does something weird inside your chest when you think about that person. And... it's hard to be apart from them, even more so than your dearest friends.

Or that's what I heard, anyway.

Oh, is that so.

So those weird feelings happen to others as well. That is quite the relief to know.

I've always... wondered about that...

It is such a hard thing to try and figure out...

I never tried... I'm not the type of person who would.. be able to be in love like that, I think...

Even if you have not tried, that doesn't mean that you are unable to ever be in love.

... It's almost too hard to describe, but...

It's a wonderful feeling... One that's very hard to ignore.
When you look at the one you are in love with...
Your heart may race, or you may get nervous, but... underneath that...
It feels like your chest is filled with... the joy you wish to experience with that person.

Almost like there is just so much time you wish to spend with them, that your chest just can't contain it...

The rest of it, though... all depends on the person...
How are you feeling?

I cannot quite explain how I feel, as it is unlike anything I have ever felt before. It's a much more powerful feeling that the love I feel for those I consider my friends and my children.

Thinking about him makes me feel very happy, though.
