Umm, it depends on what you're already doing but right off the bat I'd tell you to keep your base image, duplicate it, then put the duplicated layer to Screen. It should brighten up the image right away. Then keep duplicating the screened layer. If you have too many duplicated screened layers it does tend to make the image grainy, so you have to be careful with that. I guess that's really the basics to it. To get it even more lightened up, add some adjustment layers like Level or Curves. And then use like a Soft layer or an Overlay layer to either lighten or darken things depending on what you need.

These are great, but you were shocked yeterday about David!

No. Myself and a lot of others have been saying he's not dead since he went over that railing. It was bound to happen. They give Greens a life sentence and expect us to believe that's that? Didn't fall for it. Today's eppy was surprisingly decent though. I didn't fast forward once.

I wasn't so sure, but it was surely good.I'm looking forward to today.

I cried when Erica and Ryan told Kendal about Zac

And I didn't surprisingly! I was all ready to get misty eyed, because that's what I do, but there was nothing. Not a lick. I felt something more so for Erica and Binks but absolutely nothing for Kendall. I actually laughed a few times with Kendall and I think it was just Alicia trying to force tears or something but it wasn't working for me. I've seen the 'angry I don't believe what you're saying' reaction by Greens:

That my friend is how to do the angry disbelief that makes your heart break. Not what I saw yesterday. I will say it was sort of sad watching Kendall dialing Zach's voicemail though.
